“From Renewable to Renewable» teaches playing the favorable and unfavorable effects on the environment of energy consumption and you will get daily vocabulary which is commonly used on energy and environment and how it is measured.
All 143 boxes that make the game, grouped by sources of energy and related issues, are valued positively or negatively, about energy saving and environmentally friendly. If the box is positive, you advance and you have more chances of winning. If the box is negative, you go back. If you fall into one of the special boxes – for example, if you take a shower instead of a bath, as you consume a quarter of energy, you pollute one quarter part and it costs a quarter – the game will rewards you, advancing many squares at once .
Thus, in an entertaining and easily way, you will meet renewable and non-renewable energy, consumption, stocks, applications, effects, plans to reduce them as the Kyoto Protocol…
And, the most important thing, you meet the environmental effects of your daily behavior, about the use and purchase of household appliances, the use of car or public bus, responsible use of heating or air conditioning and light, like lighting by replacing energy saving bulbs, etc.
Finally, you will be encouraged to think about how and what consequences will involve energy future.
